Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites, forms, phone lines, and other services operated by One of One Partners (“One of One Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. We are not a law firm
One of One Partners is a marketing and lead generation company. We are not a law firm, we do not practice law, and nothing on the Services is legal advice. We are not a lawyer referral service, and we do not recommend or endorse any particular lawyer or law firm. Using the Services or submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or with any law firm. An attorney-client relationship exists only if you and a law firm sign an agreement directly.
Any law firm you are connected with is independent of us and solely responsible for the legal services it provides. We do not guarantee that a law firm will contact you, accept your matter, or achieve any particular result.
2. If you are submitting an inquiry
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You agree that the information you provide is true, accurate, and your own, and that you are authorized to use the phone number and email address you submit.
- You agree that we may share your information with a participating law firm, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Consent to calls and text messages
If you provide your phone number and agree on one of our forms or calls, you consent to receive calls and text messages from One of One Partners and participating law firms at that number, including calls and texts made with automated technology or prerecorded or artificial voice, even if your number is on a do-not-call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. Calls may be monitored and recorded.
4. If you are a law firm
Lead, live transfer, and signed retainer services for law firms are governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls. Calculators, examples, and other planning tools on the Services are for illustration only. They are not a quote, a forecast, or a guarantee of results. Each law firm is responsible for complying with the rules of professional conduct and advertising rules that apply to it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, fraudulent, or someone else’s information.
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Services.
- Scrape, copy, or collect data from the Services by automated means without our written permission.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including their text, design, graphics, logos, and code, are owned by One of One Partners or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view the Services for your own use. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of them without our written permission.
7. Third-party websites and services
The Services may link to or use third-party websites and services, including law firm websites and scheduling tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, One of One Partners and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless One of One Partners from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Dakota, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
